ECOBATT - BATTERY RECYCLING

The use of household batteries has remarkably increased during the past years.
When improperly disposed of, batteries can contaminate the environment, polluting the air, water and the ground.

Ecobatt is a project launched in 2008 by Beatoona, a Lebanese Non Governmental Organization (NGO). The project aims to spread awareness concerning the dangers of improperly disposed household used batteries.
The same project was also implemented in Tunisia and Jordan.
