Beeatoona organized an environmental day on the 25th of April 2009. 200 Students from different religions were brought together with the participation of Miss Lebanon 2008, Miss Rosarita Tawil, to plant 300 Pine trees in Jisr Al Kadi village (Aley region), which witnessed various big forest fires during the last couple of years. Beeatoona's project "Green Lebanon with peace", which is funded by IREX Europe, aims at promoting a non-violence culture amongst communities with different religions and political views through environmental activities. It is important to note that this project wouldn't have been successful without the contribution of Zaatar w Zeit and Pepiniere la Sagesse.
