Beeatoona organized on the 7th of May,2009, in Al Sirat school in Aley, a
workshop for 200 students coming from different schools with different backgrounds and religions on Peace-building and collective work towards a better environment. During this event, various awareness sessions were given to them and themes were the following: reforestation activity and the importance of group work, peace-building and conflict resolution, fire dangers and prevention, and last but not least stewardship. This event has allowed students to meet again and strengthen the bonds that were already created during the reforestation day on the 25th of April, 2009. Beeatoona organization thanks Zaatar w Zeit and Pepiniere la Sagesse for contributing in the success of this event.
